Ukel Parang Forest
Ukel Parang Forest feels shaped through movement that twists and flows across the fabric. The parang influence brings a strong directional energy, while the curling ukel forms soften it with turns, spirals, and layered motion. Parang is one of my favorite motifs because it is often referred to as a blade, something I connect with deeply through its sense of courage, resilience, and quiet power. Here, that strength feels less rigid and more alive, woven through rounded forms, shifting sections, and a composition that keeps the eye moving. Set in deep forest green with soft earth-toned contrast, the piece feels grounded, organic, and full of presence. Ukel Parang Forest is made for the one who carries strength with flow.
